Engine - Replace - Oil and filter

Be very careful to avoid contact with hot fluids. If fluid is extremely hot, allow it to cool to a moderately
warm temperature before proceeding.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

NOTICE:
Engines operating in temperatures below
-12 °C
(
10 °F
) or in arduous conditions should have the oil changed
every 300 hours of operation. (The oil filter need only be changed at the normal 600 hour service interval).
To drain the engine oil, proceed as follows:
1.
Run the engine until it reaches normal operating
temperature.
2.
Shut down the engine.
3.
Allow at least five minutes for the oil to settle in the
engine sump.
4.
Place a container of a suitable size under the en-
gine oil sump.
5.
Unscrew and remove the plug

6.
Remove, on the left-hand and right-hand sides of
the tractor, the drain plugs
(1)
of the sump and
drain all the oil.
NOTE:
for easier access to the drain plug on the left-hand
side, simultaneously replace the hydraulic oil filter, as de-
scribed on page

Remove the side panel as follows:
1.
Remove the fastener

Remove the side panel

To replace the engine oil filter, proceed as follows:
1.
Place a container under the engine oil filter.
2.
Turn out the two cap screws

3.
Move the bracket
(2)
being careful not to damage
the components connected to it .
