7 - MAINTENANCE
Hydraulic filter(s)
Replace the hydraulic oil filter whenever the warning lamp
remains illuminated while the engine is running at nor-
mal operating temperature.
The hydraulic filter is located under the left rear portion of
the machine just in front of the rear axle.

Slowly open the hydraulic reservoir cap to help re-
lieve pressure.

Clean the area around the filter head area before
removing the old filter. Wear eye protection to keep
dirt and debris from eyes.
3.
Use a filter wrench and remove the old filter. Have
a suitable container ready to capture any fluid that
might leak or spill.
4.
Dispose of the filter in accordance with local, re-
gional, and federal regulations.
5.
Lubricate the gasket of the new filter with clean oil.
6.
Install the new filter and turn it clockwise until the
gasket contacts the head of the filter assembly.
7.
Continue to tighten the filter for 1/3 turn.

8.
Tighten the hydraulic reservoir cap.
9.
Start up the engine.
10.
Ensure the warning lamp does not illuminate.
11.
After running for three or four minutes, shut down the
engine.
12.
Inspect for leaks.
