2 - SAFETY INFORMATION
Fuel handling
• Do not smoke or permit open flames while fueling or
near fueling operations.
• Never remove the fuel cap or refuel machines with the
engine running or the engine hot. Never allow fuel to
spill on hot machine components. Avoid spilling fuel on
the ground or contaminating the environment.
• Always maintain control of the fuel filler nozzle when
filling the tank. This will help avoid spilling fuel.
• Clean up spilled fuel immediately and dispose of all
contaminated material in an environmentally correct
manner.
• Tighten the fuel tank cap securely. If you lose the fuel
cap, replace it only with the manufacturer's approved
cap. Use of a non-approved cap without proper venting
may result in pressurization of the tank.
• Never use gasoline for cleaning purposes.
• Use the correct fuel for the operating season.

non-toxic aqueous urea solution. It chemically reduces
NOx emissions from heavy duty diesel powered ma-
chines. It is neither explosive nor considered harmful
to the environment and is classified under the minimum
risk category of transportable fluids.
• Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is not required
under normal conditions. If splashing is likely, wear eye
protection.
• For prolonged or repeated contact, impervious gloves
are recommended.
• Clean up spilled fluid immediately and dispose of all
contaminated material in an environmentally correct
manner.
• Follow the precautions listed in this safety information
chapter when handling any service fluid.
