3.1
OVERVIEW
This chapter describes how to start up and shut down the vehicle radio assembly.
Use of the vehicle radio assembly is described in Document [1] (see section 1.3).
3.2
STARTING UP / SHUTTING DOWN
3.2.1
Starting up
Note:
The BER must first be loaded with the project operating software, configured and
customised by the TPS for it to be operational and to be able to access the PMR
network services (see section 1.3, Document [3]).
• Press the
key (Figure 2.3, item 2) on the CH briefly.
The CH emits an information beep. The welcome screen is displayed for two or three
seconds.
Use of the vehicle radio assembly is described in Document [1] (see section 1.3).
3.2.2
Shutting down
• Press and hold down the
key (Figure 2.3, item 2) on the CH.
The CH emits an interruption beep. A picture confirming that the CH is shutting down
appears on the display for approximately three seconds, then the CH shuts down.
