Chip-air control

Operation
•
Key held down (at least 2 seconds) with the instrument removed:
Chip-air
control.
Delivers air to the turbine or micromotor.
Air is delivered by pressing the button. Air is no longer blown when the
button is released.
• Briefl y press key with instrument extracted:
Water spray to the instruments is turned on or off.
ATTENTION!
A beep sounds to signal the operating status has been changed.
LED (6) lights up to signal operation with water spray.
•
Key held down (at least 2 seconds) with the instruments in place:
“Dental chair automatic return” function activated.
NOTE: If button (5) is pressed and held down another time, the
dental chair goes into its work position.
Protection against liquid penetration.
The foot control is protected against liquid penetration.
Degree of protection: IPX1.
Cleaning
Clean the foot control with a suitable product approved against bacteria
and fungi and effective against viruses (including HBV and HIV): see
paragraph 1.4.
NOTE: The product should be sprayed on soft disposable paper
towel or sterile gauze.
ATTENTION!
Do not use acids or harsh products.
NOTE: If the foot control slips on the fl oor, dust the slip-proof rubber
found under the base with a dry cloth.

•
With instrument removed
- Push the foot control to start the instrument.
The instrument's rpm (or power) can be adjusted by varying the pressure
exerted on the foot control.
NOTE: the foot control adjusts the speed/power of the instrument
from the minimum to maximum value set from the instrument board.
- Release the foot control to stop instrument operation.
NOTE: with water spray, air is automatically blown to eliminate
any drops of liquid left in the spray ducts.

With instrument in place
When the foot control is pressed, all automatic dental chair movements
are automatically blocked.
