WARNING:
Adjust the tension of the belt every time the position of the backrest is
changed.
Opening and closing the fastening buckle (see illustration 04)
• Put the two parts of the harness chest straps together and insert them into the
female part of the buckle (with the red button), then press both until they click
indicating it is fastened correctly
(fig. 04)

• To open it press the red button.
Adjusting the harness straps (see illustrations 05 - 07)
• Close the buckle, tighten the chest straps by pulling the end of the tightening strap
TMS
(fig. 05)
, until obtaining the required fit, taking care to always leave room for
movement.
• To loosen the harness, press the TMS in the direction of the arrow
(fig. 06)
and
pull the chest straps with the other hand
(fig. 07)
.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure that the straps of the seat are not twisted when the child
is using it.
Changing the position of the harness (see illustrations 08 - 09)
• Find the metal clip on the back of the PRIMA (
fig. 8
) and release the shoulder
straps. Take one out and then the other.
• Take the shoulder straps out of the slots on the seat and the mattress pad.
• Insert the straps into the appropriate slots (
fig. 9
), and put them back in the metal
clip, making sure that they are positioned correctly. Check that the straps are not
twisted.
IMPORTANT:
When the straps come out of the backrest they should be at the
height of the child’s shoulders and both at the same level.
Changing the position of the handle (see illustrations 10 - 12)
• Adjust the position of the handle in accordance with the use of the PRIMA, to
do this, simultaneously press the buttons on both sides
(fig. 10)
and tilt the
handlebackwards or forwards into the required position. It will click to indicate it is
fastened
The handle has three positions (fig. 11):
Position 1
: Handle tilted forwards to be installed in the car.
Position 2
: Upright as a carrying handle.
Position 3
: Horizontal as a rocker or for installing in the pushchair.
IMPORTANT:
To change the handle from position 2 to 3 or vice versa, the hood
should be unfolded (
fig.12
).
