3. Operating Procedure
•
Switch on at main power.
•
The thermostat serves as on/off switch.
•
Rotate the thermostat knob clockwise to the desired temperature. The
orange heat indicating light will light up and the unit will start heating. When
the desired temperature is reached, the heat indicating light goes out and unit
switches off. When the temperature decreased slightly, the unit will switch on
automatically. This cycle will continue until the thermostat setting is changed.

Place bread on toaster and close lid. (Buttering both sides of the bread will
prevent it from sticking as well as giving it a golden brown colour)
•
When toast is ready, open the lid and remove toast. Don not leave food on
the plates after cooking. As acid build-up might damage the plates.
•
Always switch off the unit when finished baking by turning the thermostat to 0
and switching off the main power switch.
Do not touch hot food, liquid or heating surfaces while equipment is
heating or operating. Allow the hot surface to cool before handling.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance
•
Always ensure that the unit is disconnected from the main power supply
before cleaning.
•
This appliance should not be cleaned with a water jet or immersed in water.
Only use a damp cloth or sponge dipped in soapy water. Failure to observe
this instruction might damage the unit and will void the warranty.
•
Wipe off the appliance with a dry cloth and wait at least 30 minutes before re-
connecting to the main power outlet.
•
A fat cup, positioned at the rear of the unit, catches grease and should be
cleaned periodically. Depending on the usage of the toaster.
