OPERATING YOUR TS 4013/TS 4014 TOASTER
BEFORE FIRST USE
Unpack the appliance and its accessories.
Before environmental disposal of the
packaging, make sure you have removed all
parts and accessories from the package.
Check the appliance and all the accessories
for damage. Never use a damaged appliance
and/or appliance with damaged accessories,
damaged power cord or plug.
Before fi rst use, wipe the appliance with
a soft sponge slightly moistened in warm
water.
Turn the appliance on with the highest
toasting level without any pastry inserted.
You may notice slight smoke coming from
the openings or light smell. This is a normal
event which disappears during use.

Never submerge the
appliance in water
or in any other
liquid.

NEVER ATTEMPT TO
REMOVE JAMMED
PASTRY WITH
A KNIFE OR OTHER
TOOL WHILE THE
APPLIANCE IS STILL
CONNECTED TO THE
MAINS. THIS COULD
LEAD NOT ONLY
TO THE APPLIANCE
DAMAGE, BUT ALSO
TO AN ELECTRIC
SHOCK. ALWAYS
DISCONNECT THE
POWER CORD
FROM THE POWER
SOCKET.
