OPERATING YOUR TS 4013/TS 4014 TOASTER
TIPS AND TRICKS
The toasting level depends on the water
amount in the pastry as well as your personal
taste. We recommend to set a lower toasting
level and then make an adjustment.
For thin pastry slices, we recommend to set
a lower toasting level while for thicker slices,
we recommend to set a higher toasting level
or use the
Bagel
function.
For fresh or wholegrain pastry, it’s suitable to
use a higher toasting level.
If you are about to toast sweet pastry, such
as with raisins or nuts, we recommend to
remove loose or cut pieces from the slice.
This will prevent them from burning or
getting jammed in the appliance.
Please half bagels, baguettes or muffi
ns in
two equal halves if possible before toasting.
Both halves will be toasted uniformly then.
Please always insert the pastry in the
opening centre to ensure uniform toasting.
Be very careful during the consumption
if toasting stuff ed pastry. The fi lling may
warm faster and to a higher degree than the
pastry surface. Do not leave the appliance
unattended if warming such pastry.
Do not use force when inserting or removing
the pastry.
Do not insert pastry with butter, spread
etc., pastry with leaking fi lling, frozen pastry
with pieces of ice etc. This could result in the
appliance short-circuit and electric shock.
