Configuring iSCSI Boot from SAN for RHEL 7.4
To install RHEL 7.4 and later:
1.
Boot from the RHEL 7.
x
installation media with the iSCSI target already
connected in UEFI.
Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x
Test this media & install Red Hat Enterprise 7.x
Troubleshooting -->
Use the UP and DOWN keys to change the selection
Press ‘e’ to edit the selected item or ‘c’ for a command
prompt
2.
To install an out-of-box driver, type
e
.
3.
Select the kernel line, and then type
e
.
4.
Issue the following command, and then press ENTER.
linux dd modprobe.blacklist=qed modprobe.blacklist=qede
modprobe.blacklist=qedr modprobe.blacklist=qedi
modprobe.blacklist=qedf
You can use the
inst.dd
option instead of
linux dd
.
