through the cymbal rod and put another felt
and washer above the cymbal, then screw
up the butterfly
nut.

Unscrew the wing nut.
This four-leg bracket is NOT EXTENDED.
Unscrew the wing nut to make the bottom
retainers all the way down
.
Place this four-leg bracket FULLY EXTENDED.
Bottom retainers are all the way down and locked
in place. The butterfly nut fits into a cutaway in the
four-leg bracket. Tighten the butterfly screw in a
clockwise direction. Check tightness of the wing nut.
Place this seat into the FULLY EXTENDED
four-leg bracket. Tighten the butterfly screw in a
clockwise direction. Sit down and play drum.
