You have the following setting options:
Overlapping
1. Press the "Overlapping" button
An input dialogue is displayed.
2. Enter the overlap as a positive or negative value in centime-
tres.
3. End the Process with "Back".
Overlapping
The overlap compensates for steering errors and position data inaccuracies.
There are two possible applications:
1. Missed areas must be avoided.
Enter a positive overlap.
The distance between the PT lanes reduces by the entered value.
The effective working width is reduced.
Incorrect positions are prevented.
Overlapping can occur.
2. Overlapping must be avoided.
Enter a negative overlap.
The distance between the PT lanes increases by the entered value.
Overlapping is avoided.
Missed areas can occur.
Beds
In bed mode, you can jump lanes and thus, for example, turn in a
train even with smaller working widths.
Setting "1" means that every PT lane is used.
Setting 2/3/4/5 means that every second/third/fourth/fifth PT
lane is highlighted in the portrayal. The remaining ones are
greyed out.
1. Press the "Beds" button
An input dialogue is displayed.
2. Enter a value between 1 and 5.
3. End the Process with "Back".
