Setting the temperature

•

The temperature is regulated by the thermostat dial, found inside the fridge compartment on the right hand side.

•

The thermostat can be adjusted between 1 (least cold) and 5 (coldest).

•

To switch off the cooling system, turn the thermostat to 0.

Use

•

Never put liquids in the refrigerator uncovered.

•

Never put hot foods in the refrigerator.  Warm food should be allowed to cool to room temperature before being put

into the refrigerator.

•

Nothing should rest against the internal rear wall of the refrigerator, as this will cause frost and possible condensation

problems which will be difficult to remove.

Using the ice box

The ice-box door is fitted with an indicator to show whether the door is fully closed.  The door should be kept closed to
prevent the contents of the ice-box defrosting, heavy build up of frost in the ice-box and excessive unnecessary use of
energy.  The indicator is shown in the diagram to the right.

•

The Door Open indicator shows red when the door is not closed properly.

•

The Door Open indicator shows white when the door is fully closed.
