4. OPERATION
This juicer is designed with a safety system and can only operate when all parts are properly
installed.
Note:
It is not suggested to juice banana, apricot, mango and similar fruits which do not have enough
juice.
It is not suggested to juice cocoa and other hard fruits, because it may damage the filter, blades
and motor.
Remove bones from lemon, grape, pineapple and other similar fruits before juicing.
This device is not suitable for juicing vegetable with high fibre contents such as sugarcane.
Before plugging the device, make sure the knob is set at the 0 position, that the juice jar is
placed under the spout and that juice jar has its lid placed in its position.
Cut fruits into small pieces and introduce them in the inlet tube.
The device can operate at 2 different speeds:
1: Low speed
2: High speed
Plug the device to a power supply and turn the knob to the desired speed setting.
Introduce the cut fruits through the inlet tube and use the pusher to help the pieces enter
evenly. Do not push too hard.
It is not recommended to operate the device for more than 1 minute.
Make sure the nozzle is placed in the open position to let juice out. When served, place it in the
anti-drip position.
Note: Do not put fingers or other objects into the inlet tube. If the inlet tube is blocked, push it
by using the pusher, or turn off and unplug the appliance, and then clean up the blocked fruits.
Once you have finished using the device, turn the knob to the 0 position.
Clean the device and all its parts after each use.
Tips
Ingredients should be put into the machine slowly one by one. New ingredients should be
introduced only after the previous materials have been squeezed.
Ingredients with large fibre content (such as celery) should be cut into small-sized pieces (1-2
cm). Ingredients with particularly strong fibre should be put into the machine slowly after
being cut into the blocks of about 3 cm.
When using fruits or vegetables with low amount of juice, mix it with other with higher content.
For example, use apple when juicing carrot.
The juice amount will vary with the water content of fruit and vegetables.
Ingredients stored in refrigerators for long time will result in less juice.
Ingredients should be squeezed after being immersed in clear water for sufficient water
absorption for better results.
Hard ingredients are not suitable to make juice (such as sugarcane, etc.).
There will be certain friction noise when carrot (hard flesh) or apple (hard peel) is used for
squeezing but it won't have bad impact on the product.
Use fresh fruits and vegetables since they contain more juice. Specific preferred fruits are
pineapple, beetroot, celery stick, apple, cucumber, carrot, spinach, melons, tomato, mandarin
orange, grape, etc.
It is unnecessary to remove thin peels and skins. Only thick peels (e.g. those of oranges,
pineapples or beetroots) need to be removed. Seeds (e.g. those of oranges) shall also be
removed.
As fresh apple juice will quickly turn into brown, you can add a few drops of lemon juice to slow
down this colour turning process.
Leaves and stems (e.g. lettuce) could be extracted in the juicer for juice.
It is inadvisable to put fruits containing starch, such as banana, pawpaw, avocado, fig, mango,
into the juicer for juice extraction.
