2. BEFORE USE

Take the product out of the box.
Make sure all the accessories are included and check for any visible damage. If any is observed,
contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
Remove any packaging materials, stickers or protective foil attached to the main body or the
cord.
To reduce the risk of burns and damage, check the appliance before each use by holding it away
from body and operating the steam button.

Note: Using distilled, purified or filtered water is highly recommended to maintain optimal
performance. Tap water contains minerals that build up over time. Do not use hot water,
perfumes, vinegar, detergents, ironing additives or starch.

3. OPERATION

Note: An unusual smell may appear when the device is used for the first time. This is normal
and does not affect the operation. The smell will disappear once the device is used for a few
times.

Fill the water tank. The maximum capacity is 250 ml.
Plug the power cord into a power outlet, the light indicator will turn on.
Wait for approx. 1 minute before using the steam function, the light indicator will turn off when
the device is ready to use.

Hang the clothes or garments to be ironed in a vertical position. Hold the garment steamer
with one hand from the handle and press the steam button or activate the steam loch button.
Extreme care must be taken during use.
Attach the brush to the soleplate in order to remove lint, threads or to brush garments. Before
attaching or removing the brush, make sure the soleplate has completely cooled down.
After use, disconnect the device from the power supply.

Tips
Always test garments by steaming a small hidden area to make sure the garment operates
properly and is ready to use.
Always read garment care label instructions before ironing or steaming clothes and other
garments.
Do not press the garment steamer against the same area for a long time when ironing, so as
not to damage the clothes.
Wearing clothes immediately after ironing or steaming can actually create wrinkles. Always
allow clothing to cool for about 5 minutes after ironing or steaming before wearing it.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

After use, unplug the appliance from the power supply, empty the water tank (do it after each
use) and allow it to cool down completely.
Use a damp, soft cloth to clean the appliance’s surface after each use.
Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners to clean the product.
If the appliance is not going to be used for a long time, pour out the water in the tank and store
it in a safe, cool place.
Wind the power cord properly.
Always make sure the device has completely cooled down before storing it.
