Acid (vinegar) taste 
in coffee.

The device has not been 
properly cleaned after 
descaling.

Follow the cleaning and 
maintenance instructions to 
clean the device properly.

Ground coffee has not been 
stored in an appropriate place 
and has turned bad.

Use fresh ground coffee, or 
store the it in a cool, dry place. 
After opening a package of 
ground coffee, reseal it tightly.

The coffee maker 
does not work 
properly.

Connection between the device 
and the power supply may be 
defective.

Check the power supply and the 

cord.

The steam knob does 
not froth.

The container used is not of the 
correct size or shape.

Use a high and narrow cup.

You have used skimmed, soy, 
rice or other type of milk.

Use whole cold milk.

All the light 

indicators turn on 
red and flash.

There is not enough water in the 
water tank.

Fill the water tank until the 
device shows no error.

While brewing
