Before use check that the voltage of wall outlet corresponds to the one shown
on the rating label.
Do not operate appliance with damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Call our toll free consumer
hotline for information on examination, repair or adjustment.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or hot surface.
Do not immerse plug, cord or Glass Lid Housing into water due to the risk of
electric shock.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Always wear protective, insulated oven mitts or gloves when removing food
items or handling the unit. THE OVEN GETS VERY HOT.
The exterior of the oven will become very hot during use. Do not touch hot
surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
Always use the handle to remove the glass lid from the glass bowl. Never place
the hot lid directly on the counter or any other surface. The hot lid must be
placed on the lid rest only.
Make sure the appliance is clean and dry prior to use.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven or in a
microwave oven.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause hazard or injury.
Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not touch or stare directly into the heater bulb.
Do not move the appliance when in use.
Use extreme caution when handling or disposing of hot oils or other hot liquids.
Do not place oversized food into the appliance, the glass lid must be completely
closed.
Do not place paper, cardboard, plastic or other flammable materials inside the
unit.
This appliance is off when the timer is in the 0 (off) position. When not in use,
the oven should always remain unplugged from the wall outlet.

Polarized Plug
WARNING
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
Unplug from main power socket when not in use.
Always use the tongs provided when handling racks.
Servicing and repair should only be conducted by a qualified technician.
A fire may occur if the oven is covered, touching, or near flammable material,
including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not
store any item on top of the oven when in operation, or before the oven cools
down.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.

operating or cleaning this appliance.
If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately unplug the cord.
Do not use or attempt to repair a malfunctioning appliance.

TO PREVENT PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE READ THE FOLLOWING
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT YOUR BOWL FROM BREAKING OR
SHATTERING:
Avoid sudden temperature changes to the bowl. DO NOT add liquid to the hot
glass bowl; DO NOT place the hot glass bowl on a wet or cool surface; directly on
a countertop or metal surface, or in the sink; or handle the hot glass bowl with
a wet cloth. Allow the hot glass bowl to cool on a cooling rack, potholder or dry
cloth. Be sure to allow the hot glass bowl to cool before washing.
Add a small amount of liquid sufficient to cover the bottom of the dish PRIOR
to heating the glass bowl when cooking foods that may release liquid. Do not
handle the hot glass bowl without dry potholders.
