Username
– enter an account with domain administrator access to AD
(domain\username).

to apply changes and reboot the appliance.
Important: Domain administrator credentials (example:

required to access the web UI after the reboot.

Alerts Email
– optional; general appliance notifications can be sent to designated recipients
through a connection to a network SMTP server.
a. Select
Enable alert email
.
b. Complete the following:

Send error alert email
– includes alert types where the level is set to Error.
l
Send warning alert email
– includes alert types where the level is set to Warning.
l
Send informational alert email
– includes types where the level is set to Inform-
ation.
l
To
– indicates one or multiple recipients. For multiple addresses, use a comma to
separate addresses.
l
From
– should contain an address that recipients will recognize.
l
With
– contains the network SMTP server name or IP address.
l
Test Settings
– sends a test email using the settings entered above.
c. Click
Save
to add configuration.
