4. Remove the hydraulic brake caliper by lining up the hole provided in the brake disc,
with the (2) hex mounting bolts that secure the hydraulic brake caliper to the transmis
-
sion housing. To do this you will need to rotate the tires by hand until they are lined
up.
You may leave the steel brake line connected to the brake caliper being careful not to
kink or twist it enough to cause damage. Move the caliper out of the way into a safe
area before the power pack assembly is lifted from the vehicle.
6. Disconnect the steering linkage at the
yoke directly behind the seat. Remove
the cotter pin that secures the clevis pin
and slide the clevis pin free of the link

10. Connect an overhead hoist to the engine lift hooks and carefully raise the engine and
transmission. Pull the power pack unit towards the back of the vehicle as it is raised.
This will avoid the hydrostatic pump catching at the upper cross frame assembly.
11. Raise the power pack out of the vehicle and move to a clean working environment.
Remove the rubber oil seals and sprocket assemblies.

Always ensure that the overhead hoist or other means of raising the engine/transmission
is secure and able to handle such weight capacities. Always guarantee a safe working
envirionment.

the hydrostatic pump from the transmission before raising the unit.
