NORMAL: For balancing wheel rims made of steel or light alloy. Attach clip-on
weights to the edge of the wheel rim.

ALu 1: For balancing wheel rims made of light alloy. Attach adhesive weights to
the side of the wheel rim.

ALu 2: For balancing wheel rims made of light alloy. Attach hidden, external, ad-
hesive weights.
(see figure H.)
ALu 3: For combined balancing. Attach clip-on weight on the outer edge and ad-
hesive weight on the inner side.

sTATIC: For balancing motorcycle wheels or when it is impossible to attach the
weights to both sides of the wheel rim.
(see figure H.)
NOTE: The ALU functions may be selected at any time to provide a reading of the
weights to be attached to different locations on the wheel rim if “NORMAL” is not
desired. Press key “A” to select the desired function (ALU 1, ALU 2, ALU 3). For
each different ALU function, the UNBALANCE VALUE displays will indicate the real
numeric values of the weight(s) based on the location of the weight.
