Check the Platform (65) adjustment inside the Cannister (62). The Platform can
be adjusted up and down to
three different size nails:
A. 1-3/4” Long Nails
(Use bottom setting).
B. 1-1/4” to 1-1/2” Long Nails
(Use middle setting).
C. 3/4” to 1” Long Nails
(Use top setting).

Place a coil of Nails (97) around the Platform (65) in the Cannister (62).

Uncoil enough nails to reach the Feed Pawl (36). Place the
second nail on the
coil between the teeth of the Feed Pawl, making sure the nail head fits in the slot
in the upper portion of the Feed Pawl.
5.
Swing the Cannister Cover (69) closed. Then, close the Door (39). Make sure
the Door latches securely. If it does not engage, the nail head is not in the slot in
the upper portion of the Feed Pawl (36).
To Adjust The Shingle Gauge:
1.
The Shingle Gauge (53) controls roof shingle spacing. To adjust the Shingle
Gauge to work with a particular width of shingles, use the Hex Wrench (96) to
loosen the two Hex Screws (52) on the Shingle Gauge. Slide the Shingle Gauge
forward or backward to the desired spacing. Then, retighten the two Hex
Screws.
