Inspection, Maintenance, and 

Cleaning

BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the

general condition of the Compressor.  

Check for loose screws, misalignment 

or binding of moving parts, cracked or 

broken parts, damaged air hose, and 

any other condition that may affect its 

safe operation.

compressor oil level in the Oil Sight 

Glass (23).  If necessary, fill the Com

-

pressor’s Crankcase with the proper 

amount and type of compressor oil.

DAILY, purge the Compressor’s Tank 

3. 

(1) of all air and moisture to prevent 

corrosion.  Carefully unscrew (no 

more than two turns) the Drain Valve 

(53) until the compressed air and 

moisture begins to be discharged 

from the Tank.  Allow sufficient time 

for all of the air and moisture to 

escape from the Tank.  Then firmly 

retighten the Drain Valve.
AFTER USE,

 clean external surfaces 

of the tool with clean cloth and mild 

detergent.  Do not use solvents.  Do 

not immersed any part of the Com-

pressor in liquid.
