filter must be regularly drained.   Per-

forming routine maintenance on the 

air supply will allow the tool to oper-

ate more safely and will also reduce 

wear on the tool.

2.  After each use:

• Clean the exterior of the Stapler us-

ing a clean cloth.  Do not use sol-

vents.  Do not immersed the tool in 

liquid.

3.  Quarterly:

• Have the internal mechanism 

cleaned, inspected, and lubricated 

by a qualified technician.  If the 

vanes need replacement, all vanes 

should be replaced as a set.

4.  To clear jams:

• Disconnect the Stapler from its air 

supply.

• Empty the Magazine (73) and Cap 

Canister (105) completely.

• Attempt to fire the Stapler into a 

piece of scrap wood to ensure that 

it is disconnected and incapable of 

firing any staples/plastic caps.

• If the staple/plastic cap is jammed 

in the discharge area, remove the 

Connecting Plate (76) and use pliers 

to remove the jammed staple/plastic 

cap.  Then re-attach the Connecting 

Plate.

• If the staple is jammed inside the 

Magazine (73), depress the Maga-

zine Latch (63).  Pull back on the 

Magazine.   Use pliers to remove 

the jammed staple.  Then push the 

Magazine forward until the Magazine 

Latch catches.

• If the plastic cap is jammed inside 

the Cap Canister (105), turn and 

raise the Canister Latch (104).  Use 

pliers to remove the jammed plastic 

cap.  Then turn and lower the Can-

ister Latch to re-apply pressure on 

the plastic caps.
