Typical Installation For
Concrete Underwater Light

Water level
Depth of fitting from water
level to centre of the lamp
is variable. Approximate
depth should be 750mm.
Concrete pool shell.
Ensure that concrete is
well compacted round
outer case of light niche.
Pool light must be so
positioned that it is proud of
the concrete by the thickness
of the pool finish ie.
waterproof rendering and
mosaic or tiles average
thickness 25mm.
Ensure that the light is
set square and flush with
pool shell and finish.
Ensure that rendering is well
packed behind niche lip.
Ensure niche is the correct
way up - “TOP” is indicated
on the rear of the niche.
Attach finishing facia (SPC475)
using silicone sealant.
Flexible conduit
(SPC465S) to carry
cable from light to deck
box. Excess cable must
be neatly coiled around
lamp housing.
DO NOT CUT SHORT

light with
reinforcement
