c) Test steps
1) As shown in the figure, connect the ANT input port of the tested device to the matching load.
2) Open the spectrum analyzer window by pressing the [Measurement] hard key and setting the
instrument menu. Set it as follows.
Port: ANT
Full sweep width
Reference: -40dBm
resolution bandwidth: 3kHz
3) Observe whether there is any residual response signal on the noise baseline of the spectrum
analyzer. If there is any residual response signal, read the amplitude of the peak residual response
point with the cursor, and record measurement results. If the amplitude of the residual response
signal is small, the resolution bandwidth should be further reduced to decrease the displayed
average noise level.
4) Change the reference level of the spectrum analyzer into -80dBm. Repeat Step 3), and record
the maximum residual response in the test result record table A.20.
D.Input power measurement range
a) Test items
The output signal of the high-accuracy signal generator is used as the benchmark to test the power
range of the signal received by the optional spectrum analyzer. The power requirement is as
follows: -10dBm to -110dBm (ANT port, 2MHz to 1000MHz)
+43dBm to -50dBm (T/R port, 2MHz to 1000MHz)
