Air filter
Always check and change the engine oil at the intervals outlined
in the Maintenance Schedule. The air filter element should be
cleaned more often if the machine is operated in extremely
dusty or wet areas. There is a check hose

at the bottom of
the air filter housing. If dust or water can be viewed in this hose,
empty the hose and clean the air filter housing thoroughly. If
the vehicle was submerged, please contact your local dealer to
check for water inside the engine crankcase.
Air filter maintenance
1. Remove the seat.

Remove the filter housing cover by pulling out each side at
the rear of the cover to disengage the plastic latches, then
lift up and pull back to remove it.
3. Remove the cover spring clips

and remove the filter
housing cover

Loosen the air filter clamp

and remove the air filter

5.
Remove the foam pre-filter

from the air filter.
6. Wash the foam pre-filter gently with soap and water, and
allow it to completely dry.
