To avoid any risk of injury, never attempt to open the devices when the power supply is connected.
Carefully follow the manufacturer’s advice on the installation of a CCTV camera system when using electrical
tools, stepladders, ladders, etc. and always wear appropriate protective clothing (e.g. goggles) when drilling holes.
Make sure there are no power cables or water pipes in the wall before drilling holes. Using a pipe/cable detector
is recommended.
Exposing the cameras to extreme weather events should also be avoided (e.g.: installation under a leaking gutter).
When installing cameras with this unit, we recommend using a power cable sheath to protect video/power exten-
sion cords and therefore avoid external exposure and prevent/reduce the risk of a handling accident. Carefully fill
all holes drilled for passing cables in order to retain the hermetic seal.
Never attempt to open the box when the device is exposed to rain or water or under humid conditions, to avoid
any risk of fire or electric shock. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Maintenance should be
performed by qualified personnel. Do not direct the camera into sunlight, bushes, branches or moving objects, so
as avoid useless recordings.

3. GENERAL
This video recorder is connected over IP and allows you to view and record up to four Extel eWatch cameras
in full HD (1080p). As such, it constitutes a video surveillance kit with real-time display for all the cameras on
an HDMI screen. It continuously records all the camera feeds on its hard disk. These recordings can be viewed
remotely on a smartphone and the system can send notifications when motion is detected. Also, thanks to its
connectivity, it can export recorded videos to USB media.
