5.4 Power Hook-Up
SHOCK HAZARD! NEVER CUT THE GROUND TERMINAL
from a three-
prong plug to fit a two-prong socket. Possible shock could cause personal injury or death. Have a
qualified electrician provide a power source that meets electrical requirements and all local electrical
codes.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a properly grounded receptacle that meets the power
requirements specified on the nameplate of this machine, as well as all local electrical codes. Have a
qualified electrician install one if your location is not so equipped. The socket-outlet shall be installed
near the
machine’s location and be easily accessible.
Connect the power cord into a grounded, 3-prong receptacle only!

5.5 Optional Stand Assembly
Using two or more people, carefully set the Spartan 150 SA onto the stand assembly, inserting the
four corners of the machine into the four uprights of the stand (Figure 4). Attach the machine to the
stand using the screws provided with the stand.
