OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES (also refer to wiring diagram)
RADIO TRANSMITTERS MODELS (OPTIONAL):
TX2EV, TX4EV, TX4UNI (remote controls), 747EV (wireless keypad), 128EV (2-channel wall control)
FLASHING LAMP (OPTIONAL) MODEL: FLA24-2, FLA1-LED
A
fl
ashing lamp can be connected to the control board (Terminals: 24 V / 150 mA). It indicates gate movement. The
fl
ashing light should be
mounted as high as possible and in good clear view. The control board emits a constant signal that the lamp converts to a
fl
ashing signal.
KEY SWITCH (OPTIONAL) MODEL: 100010, 100027, 100034, 100041
The system can be operated by key switch (Terminals: key symbol and COM). Also see OPEN/PED under “DIP SWITCH SETTINGS”.
STOP SWITCH (OPTIONAL) MODEL: 600084
A stop switch to stop the movement of the gate in any direction can be connected to this output
SAFETY EDGE (OPTIONAL) MODEL: 600046, 600053, 600077, 600060
(DIP LOOP/EDGE must be off)
A safety edge working according to the 8.2 kilo ohm principle can be connected to the control board (Terminals: Stop / 8,2 kOhm), i.e. a 8.2 kilo
ohm test resistor is attached to the end of the safety edge. It ensures that the electric circuit is monitored permanently. The control board is
supplied with an 8.2 kilo ohm resistor installed. Several safety edges are connected in series.
PHOTOCELLS (OPTIONAL) MODELS: 771E, 772E
The use of photocells is recommended. Use either model 771E or 772E which is also part of Safety Accessoy Kit APLUS-EV
SAFETY ACCESSORY KIT (OPTIONAL): APLUS-EV
The control board is already supplied with an antenna as standard. For special operating distances, an external antenna from the APLUS-EV
accessory kit (includes Photocell 772E, Flashing Light FLA1-LED, and External Antenna SWG-ANT-EV) can be connected as shown in the
wiring diagram.
myQ (OPTIONAL)
(only with 828EV Internet Gateway):
Allows operating the gate opener via Internet or compatible smartphnone.
DOOR MONITOR (OPTIONAL)
(only with 829EV door monitor):
allows optical and acoustical monitoring of the gate position. The gate can also be closed with the device.
BACKUP BATTERY (OPTIONAL) :
The terminals serve to reload an externally installed storage battery.
The integrated recharger is loaded and in case of power failure the battery provides power. A new fully charged storage battery may provide
power for more than 24 hours. Storage batteries are subject to deterioration and lose capacity. Due to extensive use they lose capacity even
faster. Replace storage batteries after approx. 2-3 years.
E-LOCK (OPTIONAL)
The control board allows the use of a 12V E-lock. (instructions included with E-lock). A transformer (207399) must be connected for the Elock
on the main board. In case the gate pushes too hard for the e-lock to open, a special function can be programmed. Activation time
adjustment: Push P2 and P3 together and hold for approx 5 seconds, and count the number of clicks you hear. The click sound is produced
from a relay (light relay).
1 click = approx. 4 seconds power to e-lock (factory setting)
2 clicks = gate closes for 1 second, then opens. Furthermore, after reaching the closed door position, the drive presses brie
fl
y to support the
snap-in of the electric lock. Note: The door should be equipped with ground stops.
GATE MONITORING or YARD LIGHTING (OPTIONAL)
The Terminals have two functions depending on the position of the DIP Spy/Light. Refer to step “DIP SWITCH SETTINGS” in this manual.
The output has no separate power supply and should be charged only up to 24V.
Gate Monitoring / Status of the gate (Spy)
An LED or 24V/3W max lamp (or relay) can be connected to the terminals to indicate the status of the gate
LED OFF
= gate close
LED blinking slow = gate opening
LED ON
= Gate open
LED blinking fast = gate closing
Yard lighting / Courtesy lamp for 120 seconds
An 24V/3W max lamp (or relay) can be connected to have 120 seconds output to the terminals, when the gate is receiving a command to Open/Close.
After this time, it will switch OFF automatically
CAUTION: output can be charged only up to 24V/3W or relay must be interposed
