Starting the Engine
DANgER
move log splitter outside and far away from windows,
doors and intake ventilation covers.
1.
Check oil level.
Recommended oil is 10W-30.
2. Turn the fuel valve to
“ON”
position.
3. Move choke lever to
“ChOKE”
position.
4. Pull the recoil cord.
5. Move the choke lever to
“RUN”
position.

Stopping the Engine
In an emergency, turn the engine switch to the “OFF”
position.
Under normal operation:
1. Turn the fuel valve to the
“OFF”
position.
2. Let the engine run until fuel starvation has stopped the
engine. This usually takes few minutes.
Important:
Always ensure that the fuel valve is in the
“OFF”
position when the engine is not in use.
