General Care of the Motorhome
Be sure that you feel confident with all the operations and functions of the motorhome.
If you are uncertain of anything please ask us to clarify it during the hand over.
Please remember at all times that in order to keep the overall weight down many of the
fittings are quite fragile
– and expensive. In particular the windows must be closed
gently and as the table is in fact hollow, don’t drop anything onto it. A broken window or
table top will cost you about £350!
Pre-Travel Checks
You can do serious damage if you move off without carrying out these checks:
• All cables and hoses are unplugged
• *Gas has been turned off at the bottle and the fridge set to ‘Vehicle Battery’
• All windows and skylights are closed and locked
• Aerial has been lowered and levelled
• Loose articles, cupboards and drawers are secured
• **All occupants are using seat belts
* IT IS ILLEGAL TO TRAVEL WITH THE GAS CYLINDERS TURNED ON.
** IT IS ILLEGAL FOR ANYONE TO TRAVEL IN THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WEARING
A SEAT BELT
Vehicle Return
The motorhome must be returned on time in a clean state and with the toilet cassette
emptied.
DO NOT use any cleaners apart from those provided.
Remember there is a £50 penalty for failing to empty and clean the inside of the toilet
cassette.
The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of diesel.
