Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Chauvet dimmer pack. We are confident that you will enjoy many trouble
free hours with this unit. To assist with the use and care of this unit, we have prepared this short guide.

Operation

This dimmer pack has been designed to function on a mains power supply of 120V, 60Hz and has been fitted with a
suitable power plug for use with your local voltage. The DMX-35 will accept DMX signals or analog signals (0-10V) from
a dimmer controller.

The DMX-35 is a dual function unit. In DMX mode, it is a standard dimmer pack used with par cans to turn them on and
off as well as dimming them and a ropelight connector that allows control over all 4 ropelight channels independently. It
is also a stand alone 4 channel chase unit.The maximum load per channel is 7 amps. The maximum total load is 20

amps.

DMX Operation

The DMX-35 is a four channel unit. To use the DMX-35 in DMX mode, switch # 10 must be in the OFF position. To set
the address on the relay pack, you must check to verify the bank assignment utilized by your controller (ie. The Chauvet
DMX 40 banks all fixtures in 16 channel intervals and the CX5 in 14 channel intervals. The ShowXpress allows you to
utilize all the channels)

Example: To set the start address at channel 12

1. Set SW 10 to OFF.
2. Count the value of the switches in the on position. SW 3 equals 4

and SW 4 equals 8.

3. Set SW 3 and SW 4 to the ON position. (4 + 8 = 12)
