Connect the leads to the multimeter and connect it in parallel to the circuit to
be tested.
■
Place the selector switch on voltmeter (V) function (high impedance).
The instrument is in AC mode. Press the DC/AC button to select DC and vice
versa.
■
Automatic range selection : read the measured value.
■
Memorise the value, if necessary, by pressing the HOLD button.
If necessary, press the following buttons :
■
RANGE to select the ranges manually
■
MIN.MAX to read the min or max values
■
to switch on the backlight of the display
