WARNING:

malfunctions, is dropped or has been damaged in any way. To avoid the risk of injury or electric 
shock, never try to repair the Electric Skillet yourself. Contact Chefman Customer Service for 
assistance.

5.  To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or Electric Skillet in 

water or any other liquids.

6.  Do not use this appliance for purposes other than its intended use.
7.  Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
8.  The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by Chefman may cause fire, electrical 

shock or injury, and will result in void of warranty.

9.  Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or heated oven.
10.  Only use on a dry, flat, heat resistant surface.
11.  The Electric Skillet’s cord should only be plugged into a 120V AC electrical wall outlet.
12.  Always attach the plug to the Electric Skillet first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To 

disconnect, turn control knob to OFF, then remove plug from wall outlet.

13.  Do not let the electrical cord hang over the edge of the table or countertop, or touch hot 

surfaces.

14.  Do not leave the Electric Skillet unattended during use.
15.  When using this appliance, provide adequate ventilation above and on all sides of the Electric 

Skillet for air circulation. Do not allow the Electric Skillet to touch curtains, wall coverings, 
clothing, dish towels or other flammable materials during use.

Caution: 

The Electric Skillet generates heat during use. Proper precautions must be taken to 

prevent the risk of burns, fire or other damage to persons or property. Keep hands clear of 
the immediate area surrounding the Electric Skillet during operation and use handles on the 
appliance when operating. Do not put hands or other body parts on or near the Electric Skillet 
while in use or hot.

17.  Use caution when operating the Electric Skillet. Its surface and contents are very hot. Use 

silicone-tipped tongs or protective gloves to remove food from the Electric Skillet.

18.  During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and/or a slight odor. This is 

normal and should quickly disappear. It will not recur after appliance has been used a few more 
times.

19.  Do not move the Electric Skillet while it is in use and/or full of food.
20.  Always unplug the Electric Skillet after use.
21.  Never yank the cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull firmly.
22.  Unplug the Electric Skillet from outlet before cleaning. Allow to cool completely before cleaning 

or storing.

23.  Never place the Electric Skillet in the dishwasher. It is NOT dishwasher safe.
24.  The Electric Skillet’s housing can be wiped down between uses with a non-abrasive cleaner.
25.  Store Electric Skillet in a cool, dry place.
26.  Never wrap the cord tightly around the Electric Skillet during use or storage; this may cause the 

cord to fray and break
