12. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord in the wall outlet.
To disconnect, turn any control to ²off,² then remove plug from wall outlet.

SHORT POWER SUPPLY CORD INFORMATION
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming
entangled in or tripping over a long cord. Extension cords may be used if
care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked
electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance. The cord should be arranged so that it will
not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over unintentionally.
USING YOUR ELECTRIC SKILLET
Before using for the first time, wash Skillet in warm soapy water, rinse
and dry.
DO NOT IMMERSE the UNIT in any liquid. DO NOT
IMMERSE the Temperature Control probe or let the probe come in
contact with any liquid.

Make sure Temperature Dial is set to the “Min” Position .insert the
Temperature Control Probe into the Skillet so the two terminal pins on
the Skillet are fully inserted into the probe. if the Temperature Control
Probe is not completely inserted , abnormal heating may occur, resulting
in accident or damage.

Plug the cord in a 230 volt,50HZ AC outlet only.

During cooking, the pilot light may cycle on and off indicating the
desired temperature is being maintained.

After use, turn the Temperature Dial to the “OFF” position, unplug unit
from outlet and then unplug the Temperature Control Probe from the
Skillet.
CLEANING YOUR ELECTRIC SKILLET

After use, turn the Temperature Dial to the “Min” Position, unplug the
cord from the electrical outlet and remove the Temperature Control
Probe from the Skillet.
NOTE:
When removing the plug from the outlet, be sure to grip the plug unit
with your hand instead of gripping the cord.
