Heatsink
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the
internal system components to cool before touching them.

To remove the component:
A.
Power down the server (
B.
Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
C.
Remove the top covers (
D.
Remove the riser card assembly (
E.
Remove the air baffle (
F.
Remove the heatsink:
1.
Loosen the four (4) captive screws securing the heatsink to the mainboard. Follow the
screw sequence indicated below.
