SPECIFIC PRODUCT WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

WARNING! LEAD-ACID BATTERIES (part #13) GENERATE HYDROGEN
GAS DURING NORMAL OPERATION, AND EVEN MORE GAS IS GENER-
ATED WHEN THE BATTERY IS CHARGING. HYDROGEN GAS IS: EXPLO-
SIVE, POISONOUS TO BREATHE, AND HIGHLY FLAMMABLE.
2.
ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION. When working on or around lead-acid
batteries, always wear ANSI approved, safety impact eye goggles.
3.
AVOID CONTACT WITH BATTERY ACID. If splashed, immediately wash af-
fected area with clean water. Continue washing area until medical help is avail-
able.
4.
USE THIS TOOL IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. Do not attempt to jump start
a vehicle around flammable gases or liquids. If necessary, wear an ANSI ap-
proved breathing respirator to avoid hydrogen gas fumes.

MAKE SURE TO READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AS OUTLINED IN THE MANUFACTURER’S
MANUAL FOR THE VEHICLE/BOAT ON WHICH THE POWER STATION WILL
BE USED.

NEVER ATTEMPT TO USE THE 24 VOLT DC SETTING ON THE POWER
STATION TO START A VEHICLE/BOAT WITH A 12 VOLT DC SYSTEM.
7.
NEVER ALLOW THE RED AND BLACK CLAMPS ON THE COPPER
BOOSTER CABLES (parts #1, #2) TO TOUCH EACH OTHER NOR BOTH TO
TOUCH THE SAME METAL OBJECT.
8.
MAKE SURE TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE/BOAT IGNITION BEFORE MAK-
ING CABLE CONNECTIONS.
9.
ALWAYS CONNECT THE RED CLAMP ON THE COPPER BOOSTER CABLE
(part #1) TO THE POSITIVE (+) TERMINAL ON THE VEHICLE/BOAT
BATTERY.
10.
ALWAYS CONNECT THE BLACK CLAMP ON THE COPPER BOOSTER
CABLE (part #2) TO THE NEGATIVE (--) TERMINAL ON THE VEHICLE/ BOAT
BATTERY.
11.
WHEN CONNECTING THE CLAMPS ON THE COPPER BOOSTER CABLES
(parts #1, #2) THE VEHICLE/BOAT BATTERY, CONNECT THE RED CLAMP
FIRST, THEN CONNECT THE BLACK CLAMP. WHEN DISCONNECTING THE
CLAMPS FROM THE VEHICLE/BOAT BATTERY, DISCONNECT THE BLACK
