UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure all the parts shown on the Parts List on page 13
are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the
number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer to
the Assembly Diagram on page 13. The numbers in parenthesis after parts refer to the
corresponding numbers on the Parts List, also on page 13.

CAUTION: Always make sure the Power Cord of the Carving/Chipping Tool is
unplugged from its electrical outlet
prior to making any adjustments to the tool.

Choose the right bit for your application. The Bull Point/Breaker Bit (9) and the 2”
Chisel (6) are designed for Light Duty use in brick, tile, and similar materials. The
1/2” Cold Chisel (4), 5/8” Chisel (5) and the 2” Chisel (6) are used for wood
applications and making slots. The 1/2” Cold Chisel (4) is used for Light Duty
cutting and dressing metal surfaces.
