the cover and tighten the screw fully (Fig. 34).

• Use a 3V, CR 2032 battery similar to the type rec-
ommended for operation of this product.
• Always keep batteries and tools out of the
reach of children.
• Always remove flat batteries from the prod-
uct to prevent any possible liquid leaks from
damaging it.
• Do not throw dead batteries in fire or leave
them in the environment; they must be dis-
posed of through waste sorting.
• If the batteries are leaking liquid, replace
them immediately, making sure to clean the
battery compartment; thoroughly wash your
hands if they have come into contact with the
liquid. Always dispose of leaking batteries

types of injuries.

THIS PRODUCT COMPLIES
WITH EU DIRECTIVE 2006/66/
EC
as amended. The crossed bin
symbol on the batteries or the
product packaging indicates that, at the end of
their life, they must be disposed of separately
from domestic waste, either by taking them to
a separate waste disposal site for batteries or by
returning them to your dealer when you buy
similar rechargeable or non-rechargeable bat-
teries. Chemical symbols (Hg for mercury, Cd
for cadmium, Pb for lead) printed beneath the
crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicate the
type of substance contained in the battery. The
user is responsible for taking the batteries to
special waste disposal sites at the end of their
life so they can be processed and recycled. If
dead batteries are collected correctly as separate
waste they can be recycled, processed and
disposed of ecologically; this avoids a negative
impact on both the environment and human
health, and contributes towards the recycling
of the substances contained in the batteries.
Improper disposal of the product by the user
may harm the environment and human health.
For further information regarding the waste
disposal services available, contact your local
waste disposal agency or the shop where you
bought the appliance.

mental rules and regulations adopted within
the country of use.
