10. Press the side buttons to return the leg rest to its original posi-
tion (diag. 12).
2.6 REAR BRAKES
The rear wheels are fitted with a braking system which allows you
to apply the brakes to the rear wheel groups.
11. To apply the brakes, press one of the two pedals on the rear
wheels in the centre of the rear wheel group downwards, (diag.
13), push the stroller forwards to check that the brake is ON.
WARNING: after applying the brake pedals, check that the brakes
are locked in place on both rear wheels.
12. To release the brakes, push one of the two pedals on the cen-
tral rear wheel group upwards (diag. 14).
2.7 FRONT SWIVEL WHEELS
The stroller has swivel/fixed front wheels. It is recommended to
use the fixed wheels on particularly uneven ground. It is recom-
mended to use the swivel wheels on normal road surfaces as it
makes it easier to handle.
13. To unlock the swivel wheels, raise the front lever, as seen in
diagram 15. To lock the swivel wheels, use your foot to lower the
lever. Whatever the current position of the wheel, it will lock in a
straight position.
WARNING: Both wheels must be blocked or unlocked at the same time.
2.8 SUMMER/WINTER HOOD
The stroller comes with a hood.
14. Fit the hood in place fastening the plastic clips to the relative
hooks, (diag. 16) and join the two velcro straps to the side tubes
(diag. 17).
WARNING: The hood must be fitted correctly on both sides of the
stroller. Check that it is securely fastened.
15. Open the hood (diag. 18A) and press the two side snap-bars
down to lock it in place (diag. 18B).
WARNING: always release these two snap-bars before trying to
close the hood.
16. You can also unzip the rear flap to ensure increased ventilation
for your baby in summer (diag. 18C).
2.9 CLOSING THE STROLLER
WARNING: when performing this operation, make sure that your
child and all other children are at a safe distance. Ensure that dur-
ing these operations the moving parts of the stroller do not come
into contact with your child. Before closing the stroller, check that
the basket is empty and neither the car seat (optional) nor the
bumper bar (optional) are attached.
17. If open, close the hood by raising the two side snap-bars (diag.
19A) and pull the front section up towards the handles (diag. 19B).
18. To close the stroller, pull the rear crossbar upwards (diag. 20A)
and use your foot to release the pedal on the right side of the
stroller (diag. 20B)
19. Now push the handles forward and the closure procedure is
complete (diag. 21).
20. When it is closed, the hook on the side automatically locks
the stroller in a closed position (diag. 22) to prevent it from ac-
cidentally opening.
2.10 REMOVABLE LINING
The stroller has a completely removable lining.
21. To remove the lining, start by raising the leg rest (diag. 23) to
remove its lining (diag. 23A). Now remove the clasps (diag. 23B),
open the two press-studs that secure the fabric ties located under
the seat (diag. 23C); open the two velcro straps along the backrest
tubes (diag. 24) and remove the lining, checking that the lap belt
doesn’t get caught.
22. Open the press-studs on the front stroller tubes (diag. 25A),
and release the two plastic inserts located on the side stroller
tubes (diag. 25B). Now remove the lining pulling it up and over
the backrest.
2.11 TO REPLACE THE LINING ON THE FRAME
Follow the instructions below to replace the lining.
23. Position the fabric lining on the stroller backrest.
24. Thread the lap belts through the relative slots (diag. 26).
25. Fasten the two plastic inserts located on the side stroller tubes
(diag. 27B) and fasten the two fabric ties to the rear tubes using
the two press-studs (diag. 27B).
26. Fasten the two velcro straps along the backrest tubes (diag.
27C), fit the lining over the leg rest (diag. 28) and close the two
press-studs that secure the fabric ties located under the seat
(diag. 29B); now fit the buckles in place (diag. 29A).
3 ACCESSORY LIST
WARNING: The accessories described below are not necessarily
available on some versions of the product.

3.1 STORAGE BASKET
The stroller can be fitted with a practical carry-all basket.
27. Fasten the loops to the designated fixtures (diag. 30) to fasten
the basket in place.
3.2 FULL-COVER RAIN HOOD
A rain cover can also be fitted onto the stroller.
28. To assemble the full-cover rain hood, thread the ties around
the stroller tubes in the positions indicated in diagram 31.
When you have finished using the rain cover, allow it to dry in the
open air (if it is wet) before folding it away.
WARNING: pay particular attention when using the full-cover
rain hood.
WARNING: the rain cover cannot be used on a stroller which has
no hood or sun-hood as it could suffocate the child. When the
rain cover is fitted on the stroller, never leave it exposed to direct
sunlight with the child inside, as the temperature will rise con-
siderably.
WARNING: only use the rain cover supplied with the product kit.
3.3 FOOT MUFF / LEG COVER
A foot muff, ideal for cold climates, can be assembled on some
versions of this stroller, and can be turned into a leg cover.
FOOT MUFF
29. Fasten the foot muff in place using the press-studs as seen
in diagram 32.
30. The top end of the foot muff is fitted with two velcro straps
used to fasten it to the rear of the backrest (diag. 33).
31. The foot muff also has slots to thread the safety harness straps
through when in use (diag. 34).
WARNING: always thread the harness straps through the desig-
nated slots when using the foot muff.
LEG COVER
32. The foot muff can easily be turned into a leg cover by unzip-
ping it (diag. 35) and removing the fleece lining.
33. To fit the leg cover, fasten the clips in place by threading the ties
around the stroller tubes in the positions indicated in diagram 36.
3.4 BUMPER BAR
The bumper bar is an optional accessory that can be used on all
versions of the Liteway Plus Stroller.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
The bumper bar has no removable lining.
34. Clean all the fabric parts with a damp sponge and neutral de-
tergent.
Use a soft cloth to clean the plastic parts on a regular basis. Al-
ways dry any metal parts that come into contact with water to
prevent the formation of rust.
ASSEMBLY
35. Use the fastener levers to attach the bumper bar to the frame
(diag. 37). Make sure that the bumper bar is fitted correctly on
the stroller before placing the child inside. Follow the assembly
instructions to guarantee correct use of the bar (Diag. 38) When
assembled correctly, the arrow stamped on both fastener levers
must be pointing upwards.
REMOVAL
36. Release the fastener levers to remove the bumper bar, as seen
in diagram 39.
