another cover approved by the manufacturer,
since it is an integral part of the child car seat
and, therefore, one of its safety elements.
WARNING! To ensure the safety of the child
car seat, never use it without its fabric cover.
To remove the fabric cover, first release the
restraint harness as follows:
- press the restrain harnesses adjustment but-
ton and, at the same time, grasp the two
child car seat straps below the shoulder
straps, pulling them towards you to release
them (diag. 37).
- release the restraint harness, pressing the red
button on the buckle (Diag. 38).
- open the fabric cover velcro fastener on the
interior of the backrest (Diag. 48).
- push the harness strap, together with the
shoulder strap, under the cover (Diag.49).
- repeat this procedure for the other strap.
- remove the headrest cover, the crotch strap
and the child car seat cover.
To replace the fabric cover and safety harness,
proceed as follows:
- replace the headrest cover, the crotch strap
and the child car seat cover.
- before closing the velcro fasteners, thread
the restraint straps over the fabric cover
(Diag. 50).
ATTENTION! Check that the harness straps
are not twisted.
ATTENTION! The fabric cover on some ver-
sions is fitted with a zip instead of Velcro fas-
teners.
How to Clean the Plastic or Metal Parts
Clean the plastic and coated metal parts only
with a damp cloth.
Never use abrasive detergents or solvents.
The movable parts of the child car seat must
not be lubricated.
Checking the Condition of the
Components
It is recommended to check regularly the con-
dition of the following components to ensure
that they are not damaged or worn out:
• Fabric cover: Check that the padding does
not come out from the seams. Check the
condition of the seams: they must always
be intact and undamaged.
• Harnesses: Check that the fabric weft is
not frayed or the harness strap worn out in
the parts corresponding to the adjustment
strap, crotch, shoulders and harness adju-
stment plate.
• Plastic parts: Check that the plastic parts
are not worn out, damaged or faded.
CAUTION! If the child car seat is deformed or
worn out, it must be replaced: it may no longer
comply with the original safety standards.
Storing the Product
When it is not fitted into the car, it is rec-
ommended to store the child car seat in a
dry place, away from sources of heat and to
protect it from dust, humidity and direct sun-
light.
Product Disposal
When the child car seat no longer complies
with the original safety standards, interrupt
its use and dispose of it at an appropriate col-
