4.1.2
Replacing the Secondary Filter
IMPORTANT
•
The secondary filter should be replaced in an area large enough to open the suction-
side filter case.
1.
Release the two snap locks of the main body
and remove the primary filter (filter bag).
2.
Holding the nipple to prevent the tube from
turning, turn the screw counter-clockwise with a
slotted screwdriver and remove the nipple.
3.
Turn the knob to the left to remove, and also
remove the washer.
CAUTION
•
The filter can be replaced by
loosening it without removing the
tube (nipple). Note that the tube
might turn and be pulled if the
knob is turned.
•
After removing the nipple, make
sure it is attached vertically. If the
nipple is inserted diagonally, the
clogging indicator lamp may
malfunction and light up.
4.
As you pull the cylindrical filter forward, slowly
remove it.
5.
Attach a new secondary filter, and reattach the primary filter.
6.
Close the main body and secure the two snap locks (two points).
