This optical smoke detector not only complies with DIN EN 14604. You are buying 

first class fire protection here. The inconspicuous detector is simply installed under 

the ceiling and signals when smoke is detected with an unmistakable 85dB alarm 

signal. Low maintenance due to long-life battery.
