Installation steps (see picture 4)
- Remove the fixing of the mounting plate (use a
screwdriver if necessary);
- Put the bracket in the desired installation location and mark the
installation holes on the wall with a pencil.
- Use a drill suitable for the substrate to drill two installation
holes with a diameter of 5 mm.
- Hit the two plastic dowels into the holes with a hammer.
- Insert the screws into the bracket and tighten them firmly into the
plastic anchors.
- Mount the smoke alarm device on the bracket and the

Maintenance / cleaning & repair
Maintenance and cleaning
In addition to the weekly tests, the smoke alarm device must be cleaned regularly to remove dust, dirt and debris. The
smoke alarm device must be cleaned at least once a month.
Vacuum all sides of the smoke alarm device with a vacuum cleaner and a soft brush attached to the vacuum cleaner.
Make sure all openings are clean. Clean the cover of the smoke alarm device with a damp cloth.
This smoke alarm device is equipped with a monitoring system for low battery voltage. If the battery voltage is too
low, the smoke alarm device emits a beep approx. Every 40 seconds and at the same time the red LED flashes for at
least 30 days. Then replace it with a new smoke alarm device.
IMPORTANT: Do not try to remove the lid to clean the inside. This is forbidden!

DO NOT attempt to repair the smoke alarm. This is forbidden!
If the smoke alarm device does not work properly, replace it immediately with a comparable smoke alarm device.
