4.1 Start-up and shut-down
4.1.1 Start-up
Ensure that the DC input and AC output cables are well
connected. Turn on the circuit breaker of AC side to energize
the inverter for the first time. If any fault occurs, the AC and
DC circuit breakers should be disconnected. Then re-charge
the inverter after the AC circuit breaker is turned on again.
The DC circuit breaker needs to be turned on according to
the indication on the LCD display.
Before start-up
: Because of the high volume of DC
capacity inside the inverter, PV panels will charge the DC
capacity when the inverter is energized for the first time. It
takes about 3 minutes for the whole process of charging, the
LCD indication of which is shown in Figure 4-1 and 4-2.
Note: For CPS SC500KTL, 001# stands for Cabinet 1
for DC input invertion and controlling and 002# stands for
Cabinet 2 for DC input invertion and controlling.
