4. Select Next.
5. In the Component list, select a component.
6. Select one of these options:

Upgrade Different
Components Only
Upgrades system components that are newer or older than the currently
installed version.
ICP Only Force Install
Forces an ICP install regardless of what current version is installed.
Force Upgrade All
Upgrades all components in the upgrade package.
Factory Install
Removes all configurations and upgrades all components.
7. Select Next.
Backing up projector settings and information
You can back up the current projector settings in case you must restore these settings at a later time.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with service
permissions.
2. Select Menu > Service Setup > File Management.
3. Select Backup.
Restoring a file
You can restore configuration, preference, channel, user, and ICP files.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with service
permissions.
2. Select Menu > Service Setup > File Management.
3. To the right of the File to restore field, select Browse.
4. In the Drive Letter list, select the location of the upgrade file.
5. In the Folder list, browse to the location of the upgrade file.
6. Select the upgrade file and then select Open.
7. In the Select type list, select the type of file to restore.
8. Select Restore.
9. Select Yes.

You can restore configuration, reference, channel, and user files.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with service
permissions.
2. Select Menu > Service Setup > File Management.
