Section 3: Operation
To edit parameters shown in the
Channel Setup
menu, select the relevant channel and press
E
NTER
. The
Channel Edit
menu will appear similar to the sample shown below.
If desired, review and/or edit the following channel setups in the
Channel Edit
menu:
•
NAME
An alphanumeric label can be defined and/or changed here. Channel names can be up to 12 characters in
length. The default name is the horizontal and vertical sync frequencies.
• CHANNEL
A two-digit channel number can be changed here.
NOTES: 1)
If you enter a channel number that already
exists, a dialog message appears indicating that this number is already in use–assign a different channel
number.

You can define up to 99 channels.
•
SLOT
1-4, corresponding to which slot in the projector’s input panel the source is connected:
•
INPUT
1-6, corresponding to which input on the selected slot the source is connected to.
•
IN MENU
If checked (default, except for automatically defined channels with unchanged parameters), this defined
channel will then appear in the list available when
C
HANNEL
key is pressed. If unchecked, the channel must
be accessed via
C
HANNEL
on the keypad or via the Auto Source function.
NOTE:
On-screen display of the
channel list is an option that must be set in the
Menu Preferences
menu
.
•
AUTO SELECT
If checked, (default), the projector can automatically locate this channel when an incoming input signal
matches. If not checked, the projector can locate the selected channel only when it is directly selected via
C
HANNEL
on the keypad—and a change in input signal will not result in a channel change.
