14. OPTICAL ALIGNMENT
Use the appropriate optical alignment viewfinder provided in the equipment pack to carry out the
first barrier pointing.
Remove the front cover and place the optical viewfinder so that the cross recess appears
oriented toward the opposite beam to align and the square one, through which you have
to look, is positioned on the outside of the module (see figure below)
Look through the viewfinder at a distance of about 5 cm. The diversified colouring of the
module container favours localisation
Adjust vertical angulation by means of the corresponding mechanical adjustment screw
located at the right bottom of the module. Repeat this operation by means of horizontal
adjusting via the notched wheel at the bottom centre of the module. Centring can be
considered completed when the optics positioned at the front are reflected and centred
within the optical viewfinder
Repeat the previous operations also on the optics positioned in front of the one just
adjusted
