Sioux Pro 2
Concertina or taut wire fences
➢
These types of fences are subject to climbing, cutting and lifting.
➢
Install the box in
vertical position
following the perimeter.
Gates
➢
For swing gate refer to the indicative figure below by installing the sensor, depending on the
type of fence, and use lead cable for the bypass.
➢
The two doors of the gate can also be configured as a separate zones.
➢
If it’s not necessary to protect the swing gate, use the lead cable to bypass it.
Sliding gates
➢

Wall and/or similar material

These types of materials are subject to breakthrough and perforation.
➢
Install the sensor every 3 m, considering a coverage radius of 1.5 m.
➢
Sioux Pro 2, for this material, is insensitive to climb.

2.2 Installation of sensors
The Sioux-Master-Pro2 and Sioux-Slave-Pro2 sensors have to be installed in special boxes and
fixed to the fence in order to have the maximum transmission of the perturbations. The boxes are
fitted with a gasket to prevent water and moisture from entering.
1) Place the boxes according to the type of fence (see 2.1.3)
2) Fix the box to the fence with plastic ties, metal ties or with the metal bracket.
