MAINTENANCE REMINDERS

When maintenance is required, the LCD display screen will brighten, flash and the maintenance
reminder will appear.

Replacing the CIMR® cell/s

The CIMR® cell is no longer working correctly:

Replace the CIMR® cell.

Replacement cells are available from your CIMR® distributor.

The  CIMR®  cell/s  should  be  replaced  when  REPLACE  CELL  appears  on  the  display,  or
twelve (12) months when used continuously or two (2) years if used less than 12 hours a
day, whichever comes first, even if the CIMR® unit does not display this message.

Cleaning the CIMR® cell/s

Perform  cleaning  (approximately  every  30  days  or  as  and  when  CIMR®  unit  indicates
required action to be taken):

Clean the filter assembly

Vacuum the CIMR® cells

Vacuum top and rear grill openings

To change the CIMR® cells see instructions and illustrations on page 13 of the manual.

NOTE

Be  sure  to  press  the  reminder  reset  button  to  clear  the  reminder  following  regular
maintenance.

Resetting the reminders

The reminder you need to reset is the PERFORM CLEANING and PERFORM RCI CELL reminder.

After performing maintenance, press the reset button and the LCD screen will stop flashing
to let you know the reminder has been cleared.

All the other service reminders will clear automatically once the CIMR® unit has been turned
off and back on and the problem has been corrected.
